Watch This Video of Sci-Fi Workout Clothes

This video is pretty slow and ridiculous, but skip around to see what look like futuristic workout clothes filled with microbial cells that react to your body temperature.

Before you think we’re just making this up, check out what the superhero costume can do at about the 2:30 mark. This is the newest outfit from MIT’s Tangible Media Group.

We are in the early stages of workout clothing that react to and monitor what your body does while you workout (check out these, for example). These clothes are designed to cool you off as your body heats up. There is other gear that will read muscle activity and give you a report of muscle performance during and after a workout.
